Event Description: Tweet about this week's specials... Encourage your fans to post a testimonial on your wall... Pose one of your business challenges as a question to your LinkedIn group... Demonstrate the correct way to use your product via a YouTube video... Does this all sound like Greek to you? Or maybe just too much work? Maybe you just don't know how to get started. The Small Business Services Center, an entrepreneur-friendly department of the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce free help moving your business into the age of Social Media being offered by the Mike Cottrell School of Business and the Center for the Future of North Georgia. Fifteen small business owners in the Chamber will be selected to participate in the school's Social Media in Small Business program. Honors marketing students will: -Document current use of social media -Document intended use of social media -Document the effectiveness of the use of social media -Analyze the effectiveness (return on investment) of the use of social media -Cost/benefit analysis -Identify and develop one social media application that will contribute to the small business’s success -Build an application that increases product/service awareness, increases sales, reduces cost, improves customer satisfaction/service, … -Complete a comprehensive report documenting the team’s findings and efforts in delivering a social media application If you are a small business owner (5 or fewer full-time employees) and are ready to build your client base, grow your sales or succeed on a new level, this opportunity is for you.
