Event Description: Shop with us between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 15th and help support Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County. A portion of sales on that day will be donated, and a representative will be here to share information on how you can help make a difference! Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County, rooted in Christian principles, brings together community partners and volunteers from all faiths to help qualified Partner Families construct and purchase well-built, affordable homes and become successful homeowners. For more information, go to www.habitatforsyth.org. Ten Thousand Villages provides vital, fair income to Third World people by marketing their handicrafts and telling their stories in North America. Ten Thousand Villages works with artisans who would otherwise be unemployed or underemployed. This income helps pay for food, education, health care and housing. Ten Thousand Villages is a nonprofit program of Mennonite Central Committee.
