Event Description: President Obama signed the Lilly Ledbetter "Fair Pay" Act on January 29, 2009. Already more than thirty courts have considered or applied the retroactive amendments to federal discrimination laws in pending cases. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says the law opens the door for more aggressive enforcement of issues involving compensation. We are seeing claims revived, new legal arguments, new legal theories and new claims brought as a result of this new law. Join us during this hour long webinar to review what the courts are doing and what employers should do to prepare.
