Event Description:

Join the Healthcare Association of Forsyth County and Dr. James Morrow as he presents:

  • Policy changes in the Federal government programs that will accelerate the adoption of HIT to address healthcare quality, safety, and efficiency goals
  • An overview of policy goals and strategies in legislation introduced by the Obama Administration and expectations of action during the remainder of 2009
  • An in-depth overview of the issues raised by the acquisition and implementation of electronic health records systems

The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. with registration and networking followed by Dr. Morrow's presentation begining at 5:30 p.m.  Free for Members/ $15.00 for Non-Members.
