Event Description: Lumbar Spinal Stenosis (LSS) is a common cause of lower back pain in people 50 and older. If left untreated, it can severely affect your mobility and quality of life. If you feel you may be suffering from, or would like more information about, Lumbar Spinal Stenosis, please attend Northside Hospital-Forsyth's free, informative LSS class. Taught by Dr. Steven James, orthopedic surgeon, attendees of the Lumbar Spinal Stenosis class will learn about: • the pathophysiology of LSS • signs and symptoms of the disease • latest treatment options The class will meet Tuesday, May 5, 2009, 7 p.m., at the Northside Hospital-Forsyth Bennett Education Center, Classroom A, 1400 Northside Forsyth Drive, Cumming.
