Don't be "disabled" by the amended Americans with Disabilities Act. Fisher & Phillips LLP is offering a webinar to help employers understand how the new Americans with Disabilities Act will affect the workplace as well as to review employer obligations under the ADA that did not change. The new Act took effect January 1, 2009. Among other changes, the Act expands the definition of who is disabled and therefore more employees may be entitled to accommodations. This and other changes will place additional burdens and pressures on employers and managers to comply with the law.
