Event Description: On any given day in Gwinnett County, there are more than 450 children in foster care. These are children who are already in our communities, and they are victims of their circumstances. There are less than 50 foster homes to care for these children, and our community is in great need of compassionate, committed, and caring people. Do you have a place in your heart and home to provide care for these children? Presented by Gwinnett County Public Library, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Human Services, this Foster Parent Info Session is free and will take place on Sunday, August 21 at 2:00 pm at our Five Forks Branch, 2780 Five Forks Trickum Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30044.
