Event Description: Sawnee Ballet Theatre’s 24th annual production of The Nutcracker $20 adults $15 students (ages 18 and under) Group Discount: Groups of 15+ receive $5 off per ticket Purchase tickets online at www.sawneeballettheatre.org or at the door the day of the performance (if not sold out). Sawnee Ballet Theatre is a non-profit organization founded in 1991 by Artistic Director Joan Kall Stewart that provides young dancers the opportunity to perform and develop their artistic talents in a professional-level environment. Sawnee Ballet Theatre has presented classical ballets such as Swan Lake, Les Sylphides and Sleeping Beauty featuring nationally and internationally renowned artists James Boyd, Anna Finch, Andre Ustinov, Elena Martinson, and Yaroslav Fadeyev. Our annual performances of The Nutcracker and our Spring Concert make it possible for the community to enjoy full-length ballet performances right here in Forsyth County. Since 1992, our production of the Nutcracker has become a holiday tradition for hundreds of ballet enthusiasts in the Cumming area!
