Event Description: The Battle of the Bats is a softball invitational hosted by Special Olympics Forsyth. It will be held for the 5th year at Central Park. The tournament brings together over 20 teams from Georgia and bordering states to play competitive softball. Included are the three Special Olympics Forsyth Gold Medal winning teams: the Golden Gloves, the Loose Cannons and the Mystic Batters. The day brings together over 250 Special Olympic Athletes who enjoy a day of competitive play and fellowship. Spreading their unique spirit, they inspire all who attend. Supported by their family, friends and our community, these Athletes experience the feeling of being Champions no matter where they place for the tournament. They will create memories "for you" that will last forever. Thank you for your assistance to make this day possible!
