Event Description: Don Gordon, former Chairman of the Board of Dawson County’s United Community Bank, retired in July of 2004 at the age of 62. Just two weeks after his retirement, Don died of a heart attack in Destin Florida. Don was a longtime supporter and volunteer for the American Red Cross. He was set to become the Chairman of the Board for the Northeast Georgia Chapter at the time of his death. He was a true leader in our community, who was loved by many. The Northeast Georgia Chapter is honored to have our annual golf tournament named in memory of this distinguished gentleman. All proceeds of the golf tournament will benefit the Northeast Georgia Chapter’s humanitarian and disaster services. Information Format Four Person Teams Ft.
