Event Description:

The August Women Who Mean Business Networking event will feature speaker Paulette Norvel Lewis, Regional Administrator of the Women’s Bureau, U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Regions IV and VI.



Paulette Norvel Lewis has taken on many roles, some of which include Chief of Discretionary Programs for DOL, Regional Advocate for the U. S. Small Business Administration, and Atlanta’s Chief of the Employee Development. She has owned a consulting firm and served as Chief of Staff for Mrs. Coretta Scott King. Ms. Lewis served as Acting Executive Vice-President of the National Council of Negro and she co-founded the Minority Women Employment Program in Atlanta, GA and served as its National Director for several years. She has been recognized locally and nationally for her work and advocacy on behalf of women and small businesses.
