Event Description: Special Olympics Forsyth County is holding it’s 6th Annual SO Forsyth 5K on November 3rd at the Lanier Tech Conference Center. The race begins at 8 AM with the Fun Run starting at 8:45 AM. Early registrants will receive a bag of items and a free long sleeve T-shirt with artwork from one of our Special Olympics Athletes. In addition, special Olympics Athletes will be on the side cheering on the runners to show their appreciation for their support and then run the Fun Run with other family runners/walkers. Registration can be made by going on-line at active.com We are currently seeking sponsors for the 5K.
