Event Description:

On Monday, September 10, 2012 The Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce will host The Nuts & Bolts of Economic Development: A VIP Engagement at the Georgia Resource Center.

The event will feature:
  • A private introduction to Georgia Power's new Vice President of Community & Economic Development
  • A behind-the-scenes glance at how Georgia recruits companies to our community
  • An exclusive lunch with members of Georgia Power's economic development team

The event will begin at 10:00 AM and conclude at 1:00PM. Carpools/ caravans will depart from the Chamber of Commerce in route to the Georgia Resource Center at 9:00 AM. The carpools/ caravans will return to the Chamber of Commerce by 2:00 PM.

Carpool
A carpool/ caravan will depart to the venue from the Cumming-Forsyth Chamber of Commerce's parking lot at 9:00AM. The Chamber of Commerce is located at:

212 Kelly Mill Road
Cumming, GA 30040

Driving Directions
When travelling from Cumming, GA take GA 400 South to I-85 South. Exit I-85 at exit 84 (17th/14th/10th Streets). Remain in the left lane and follow the signs for 10th Street East and turn left on 10th Street. Turn right onto Spring Street and continue southbound. Go through two traffic lights and make a right across the street from MidCity Lofts. Follow the driveway into the parking deck on the right. From the parking deck, go to Level 5 and follow the walkway to Building 75.
