Event Description: U-Pick apple festival at Hillcrest Orchards near Ellijay, Ga. features on the farm activities such as wagon rides, pig races, cow milking, petting farm, multiple playgrounds with giant slides and a jumping pillow, Moonshine Museum, and great live entertainment on the stage. There's great fair food outside and treats from the bakery such as fried apple pies, fritters and doughnuts from the on site bakerey. The large farm market has 100's of canned goods, local honey and sorghum, baskets and kitchen gadgets. Bring the whole family for a fun filled day on the farm. Hillcrest is still family owned and operated since 1946.


Directions:
Hwy 400 North to Dawsonville exit & Hwy 53..follow Hwy 53 through town..about 1 mile outside Dawsonville turn right onto Hwy 183...follow to Y and turn left onto Hwy 52 West. Hillcrest is about 10 miles from the intersection on the left.
