On Tuesday, June 19, 2012 Georgia United Credit Union will host the 2012 HR Bootcamp at Dekalb Office. The event will serve as a training seminar for:

  • HR professionals
  • Medical practice managers
  • Small business owners
  • HR managers in manufacturing firms

The event will also serve as the kick-off meeting for the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber's Human Resource Council (HRC).

The event will feature presentations from several of the nation's top legal minds, including Tracy Moon, C. R. Wright, and Mathew R. Simpson of Fisher & Phillips LLP. The seminars will cover such topics as:

  • How to avoid unlawful hiring practices
  • How to avoid discrimination in social media
  • EEOC enforcement trends
  • Recent developments in labor laws
  • How to recognize union organizing activity
  • How to correctly classify employees
  • Recent trends in wage and hour laws

The event will take place at Dekalb Office, which is located at 1320 Ridgeland Parkway in Alpharetta, Georgia. The event will occur between 8:00AM through 11:30AM. Registration/ check-in will begin place at 7:30AM. Continental breakfast will be served.
