Event Description: Down Under Fest is an Australian and New Zealand themed festival packed "chockers" full of fun!! Australian Rules Football comp (Saturday and Sunday) with men's and women's USAFL National Team Representatives. Rugby and Cricket (Monday Only). Meat Pies, Sausage Rolls and Lamingtons - YUM!! The Down Under Pub for adults only. Kids craft and play area, Kangaroos in our Down Under Zoo, Cattle Dog demos and Idigenous Performers - LIVE MUSIC!!!! MONDAY ONLY - 8:30 am features Local VFW, NForsyth MCJROTC Cadets, local National Guard unit, members of the Australian and New Zealand military. The service includes aspects of both the US and AUS/NZ Anzac Day ceremonies. All three national anthems will be performed. The Consul General from Australia and NZ will both be there. There will be a 21 gun salute as well. FREE PARKING!!!!


Directions:
GA Hwy 400 North to exit 13 (Hwy 141). Turn left (west) at top of exit ramp. Cross over GA 400 and continue to traffic light at Hwy 9. Turn left onto Hwy 9 South. Continue south for 1.2 miles. Turn right onto Majors Road. Continue 2.2 miles. Event on right at corner Majors Rd. and Post Rd.
