Event Description: County & State Health Departments require that at least one person within each food service facility be certified in food safety. This nationally recognized program established by the National Restaurant Association provides information and skill development for individuals who are employed by, manage, or own food service operations in the hospitality industry. Notes: 1. The second class concludes with an exam. 2. Fee includes materials. 3. Score of 75% or above to qualify for ServSafe Certificate. 4. Students MUST attend both classes for initial certification. 5. Students only needing to re-certify will attend class on March 31 at 11am for the examination. 6. Fees: $150 for initial certification/$80 for those only needing to re-certify.
