Event Description: The third annual Forsyth Family Fest is September 11, 2011. This is also the 10th anniversary of 9-11. Because of this significant date, we have made strategic changes in the Fest. This is your invitation to be a part of this special day. It will be a day of remembrance as we honor the memory of the victims of the attack on our nation. We are looking for Forsyth County citizens who have a significant connection with the atrocities of 9-11. Please contact me as soon as possible if you know one of these inspirational stories. FFF 2011 will be a day to say “thank you.” Our Forsyth County Sheriff’s Department, Cumming Police Department, Forsyth County Fire Department and emergency medical personnel are trained and ready to serve us in the aftermath of any tragic event. They serve us every day and help keep the peace. Join us as we thank these courageous men and women. Even though hopelessness ruled the day on 9.11.2001, hope still lives in America. Hope was kept alive through volunteers who provided disaster relief. Hope was made real through loving hands that touched hurting hearts. The heart of hope is kept alive through our common faith in God. This 9-11 we choose hope! God bless America! We sing it because God has blessed America. He has blessed us with freedom won by men and women who have and are serving in our military. He has blessed us with a nation that is the envy of the world.
