Event Description: Ford Motor Company Fund is coming to West Forsyth High School to demonstrate safe driving skills for teen drivers. Ford Driving Skills for Life is a national safety initiative created in 2003 by Ford Motor Company, the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) and a panel of safety experts to help young drivers improve their skills in four key areas that are critical factors in more than 60 percent of teen vehicle crashes: · Distractions/ Hazard Recognition · Vehicle Handling · Space Management · Speed Management Members of the community are invited to get a firsthand look at how Ford is teaching teens the skills necessary for safe driving.
