Event Description: 1st Annual Dawson/Forsyth County Forestry Scholarship Pageant “A Magical Day in the Forest” February 19, 2011 Doors open at 9:30AM - Pageant Starts at 10AM Prizes: Crystal Crown, Crowning Pin, Custom Embroidered Green & White Satin Sash & Trophy. The Queens will also receive their entry fee paid to the 72nd Annual Miss Georgia Forestry State Pageant. Contestants are also eligible to compete in the US National Forestry Pageant, both pageants are held in Tifton, Georgia. There will be a Queen and Runner-Ups named in each age group. Age divisions: Baby Miss 0 to 23 months Teeny Miss 2 to 3 years Tiny Miss 4 to 6 years Little Miss 7 to 9 years Junior Miss 10 to 12 years Teen Miss 13 to 16 years Miss 17 to 24 years Teeny through Teen Miss is open to all counties Miss is open (please contact Director with questions) Queens will have the opportunity to promote the Forestry Industry with Smokey Bear during parades, festivals, ribbon cuttings, and so forth. The Miss Dawson/Forsyth County Forestry Hospitality Queen will receive the same prizes and opportunities as all the other Dawson/Forsyth County Forestry Queens as well as receiving her entry fee paid to the State Forestry Pageant. People's Choice Winner-We will have a winner in each age group. You must collect at least $100.00 to be eligible for this event. Entry Fee: Teeny Miss through Teen Miss $85.00 * Miss Fee is $100.00. Optional Categories: Prettiest Dress, Prettiest Smile, Photogenic, Prettiest Face, Best Personality are $15.00 each. Wallet photos must be turned in with the application. This is for the program books. Deadline for pageant is January 28th for program books to be guaranteed with picture.
