Event Description: Northside Hospital will be offering FREE prostate cancer screenings again this year. To be eligible, men must be at least 50 years old and cannot be under the care of a physician for prostate related problems. High risk populations (African American men and men with a strong family history of the disease) are strongly encouraged to attend and may be screened starting at age 45. Registration is required and begins Monday, July 19, 2010. I suggest that those interested in attending schedule their appointment as early as possible since the screenings fill up quickly.
