Event Description: website We are getting ready for our annual Heritage Day at the Fowler House in south Forsyth County (where the Fowler Park is being constructed) on June 5th from 11am to 4pm. Our purpose for Heritage Day is to open the Fowler Farm to the public so they can experience the Appalachia culture from past generations. In previous years we have hosted this event with several different trades, such as quilting, basket weaving, blacksmithing and the like. However this year we are trying to expand the public's experience to other types of trades. We are also working together with the Forsyth County Fire Department in utilizing Fire Station #2 (at Fowler Park, behind the Fowler Farm) for an antique car show, 50/50 raffle, fire station/fire truck tours for children, cook-out, extra parking, etc.
