He has started several business ventures in mortgage banking, real estate development and management, importing, sign manufacturing and business consulting. He currently is managing partner of an apartment complex in

.
He has also invested in several start-ups that provided opportunities in technology transfer, music video and merchant banking. Bloom has also been retained by owners to assist in “turning around” a factoring company and distressed real estate properties.
Steve is an instructor in small business finance and business planning at
Emory
University
