The Women Who Mean Business Networking Group will host the first of the ‘Empowerment Series’ at Tam’s Backstage. A warm breakfast will be served while we enjoy our usual networking. Afterwards, we’ll move into the Cumming Playhouse right next door to enjoy two wonderful, inspirational speakers; Aurea McGarry and Martha Lanier.

All are welcome to join for the first ‘Empowerment Series’ of 2010. Women Who Mean Business will host this series once a quarter.  

Breakfast will start at 7:30am at Tam’s Backstage.

Aurea McGarry, author of ‘I Won’t Survive…I’ll Thrive’ has seen her fair share of hard times. Her father was murdered, she lost her mother to a fight with cancer, had a terribly abusive first marriage, and fought her own courageous fight with cancer…Aurea travels the country sharing her message of hope, faith and the importance of having a great sense of humor.

Martha Lanier, is also a cancer survivor, a mother of three, the grandmother of seven and a loyal wife of 40 years. She is the founder of ‘Ignite Your Potential Inc.’ and the Author of ‘Pink Lemonade' which describes her experiences with breast cancer. Martha shares her strategies on how to persevere and generate positive results even when times are tough.
