Event Description: Academy Orthopedics will be re-opening its doors to its patients and the community on Monday Nov. 16, 2009. An orthopedics practice which has been part of the Cumming community since 1986, experienced a fire on June 28, 2009 and has since been closed. Drs. Michael Kalson and Jesse Seidman have been seeing their loyal and long standing Cumming patients at their Buford and Duluth locations, but are happy to return to the Cumming community. Academy Orthopedics will be hosting an Open House for the healthcare community as well as workers’ compensation professionals on Dec. 2, 2009 from 4pm until 7pm at our Cumming location. Please come out and meet the doctors as well as see our newly remodeled facility. The physicians practice general orthopedics as well as specializing in: Total & Partial Joint Replacement, Spine Surgery, Arthroscopic Procedures and Hand & Upper Extremity Procedures.
