  • May 14 Backyard Poultry Workshop Set yourself up for backyard poultry success with this hands-on program featuring unique, practical lessons including egg candling basics, insect rearing for chickens, poultry biosecurity, and more. This class does not provide an egg candling license but will teach you the basics for home use.

  • May 14 Cloverbuds Are you interested in getting your child involved in 4-H before 4th grade? Wonderful! We have just the club for you! We welcome all Kindgarten-3rd grade youth to meet at our office for a monthly meeting on a variety of topics. For the 2023-2024 Cloverbuds program, meetings will begin on September 12th from 5:30-6:30 PM. Meetings will continue through the end of the school year, on the second Tuesday of the month.

  • May 14 Community Club Community Club Meeting (4th-12th Grade) Make sure you're registered for Community Club and County Council! Community Club is a monthly meeting for all 4th-12th grade students in the county who are homeschooled or do not have 4-H at their school. Our meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of the month, from 7:00-8:00 PM, at the Forsyth County Extension Office. The first meeting of the year will be on September 12th. Students elected to the County Council Board will meet briefly from 8:00-8:15 PM.
