Event Description: Award-winning writer, Sharyn McCrumb, is best known for her Appalachian “ballad” novels, including the New York Times bestsellers The Ballad of Tom Dooley, The Ballad of Frankie Silver, and Ghost Riders. Her new novel, The Unquiet Grave, takes place in 19th century West Virginia and is based on the true story of one of the strangest murder trials in American history – the case of the Greenbrier Ghost. As part of North Georgia Reads, Gwinnett County Public Library will host Sharyn McCrumb on Sunday, November 5 at 3:00pm at the Norcross Cultural Arts and Community Center, 10 College Street, Norcross, GA 30071.
