Event Description: Don’t miss this opportunity to learn new ways to interact with older seniors. Spend 20 minutes experiencing life as it is like for those experiencing dementia. This powerful free simulation teaches how we can better respond and support those with dementia. This Virtual Dementia Tour is hosted by Gwinnett County Public Library in partnership with Second Wind Dreams. The Second Wind Dreams award-winning Dreams Program sheds light on the positive aspects of aging. This event will take place at our Suwanee Branch, 361 Main Street, Suwanee, GA 30024 on Thursday, September 14 from 10:00am – 12:00pm. The event is free but registration is required at www.iswdd.org.
