Event Description: Mark Pendergrast is the author of critically acclaimed nonfiction books including For God, Country & Coca-Cola, Uncommon Grounds, and others. He will discuss and sign copies of his latest book, City on the Verge: Metro Atlanta and the Fight for America’s Urban Future. City on the Verge uses the BeltLine saga to explore issues of race, education, public health, transportation, business, philanthropy, urban planning, religion, politics, and community. Gwinnett County Public Library will host Mark Pendergrast on Saturday, May 20 at 3:00pm at Barnes & Noble, The Forum on Peachtree Parkway, 5141 Peachtree Parkway, Norcross, GA 30092.
